I left my original review for AEM years ago and thought I should post a followup since they completed a second project for us. They did some repair work to our chimney and porch columns did an excellent job. The best part though was that they made it effortless. No questions about paint colors or anything like that. They just repaired everything and painted to match.

AEM just completed a bathroom renovation for us and we are very happy with the results. It is quite clear that they don't cut corners and believe in doing things the right way. We asked them for a rather tight time-frame for completion and they were able to get the project done and the results are excellent. Arnoldo, the owner, works with good craftsmen that know their trades and they produce professional results. We were very happy with their carpenter, tile setters, electrician and plumbers.

I'd recommend them to anyone and would like to work with them on additional projects around the house.

Arnoldo and his team discussed our bathroom remodel, developed ideas, presented and reviewed the design with us. They started the project timely and any thoughts or potential modifications were discussed thoroughly with us before we made any decisions. They were very accomodating and professional. There were no unexpected charges that were not previously discussed and agreed to. An outstanding team who delivers outstanding work!

We had a great experience with AEM redoing the front of our 1980s house. The bricks on the house were having a lot of problems, so we shopped around and hired AEM to handle the project of demoing the old bricks and refreshing the whole front along with installing a new portico, replacing the front porch and sidewalk. The contractor was always available for communication from beginning to end and very thorough with a great attention to details. Near the end we noticed another problem unrelated to the original scope and were able to get that fixed as well. I will be contacting them again in the future for any other projects and will recommend to friends and family as well.

Arnoldo installed a couple of racks in my father's walk-in closet, a new bathtub and shower combo, and a new dishwasher, a new window in the bedroom, and his guys were top-notch professionals and very friendly. They put lining on all the flooring including the stairs and left without a trace of dirt. They painted the bathroom unexpectedly after installing the tub and shower and toilet. And even the hallway wall adjacent to the bathroom. And lastly they installed a new air conditioning unit and coil and the AC ran beautifully all summer. I am very thankful that Arnoldo contacts customers when there's any issue and is a very kind man. My Father is very grateful for their professionalism.

AEM was amazing to work with! We had some issues with our front door getting jammed, and every other company I tried to work with gave me a ridiculous quote and failed to identify the root cause. AEM identified the root issue, gave me a reasonable quote, and performed an excellent job. I'll be going to AEM for any of my home repair / renovation needs in the future!

I got AEM as the contractor through the Gwinnett Housing Corporation Health Homes program. They were very professional and did a very good job on siding, painting, insulation, dry wall repair and shower glass installation. I recommend them.

We are VERY impressed and satisfied with the work that AEM and Arnoldo's team did for our house. They replaced a window, toilet, electrical outlet, and repaired 2 closet racks, and they pressure washed the entire house. They work extremely efficiently, neatly, and professionally, and they are very polite and respectful. They run a plastic liner on the floor from the front door to every room they work, even up the stairs. This is the first time that I've seen any contractor do this. They even repainted a wall and matched the paint color perfectly. We expect to do more business with AEM. Thank you for an outstanding job!!!

AEM did a great job on our project, plus they did some extra work to make later projects easier. Recommended. We needed an external wall reframed due to water intrusion from the outside. The studs and framing members were rotted and needed to be replaced. Also, the siding needed to be replaced on the back of the house and the original construction was missing the sheathing under the siding. AEM replaced the bad framing, resheathed and wrapped the back of the house, and installed Hardi to replace the rotted fiberboard siding. The house will also need a deck later, AEM pre-installed the ledgerboard with flashing so we won't have to drill into the new siding to put that on when we add the deck. All done a few days, site was well cleaned up afterwards.

They worked so hard and I am extremely impressed by the love they showed me throughout the process. Their detailed work has brought me so much joy and happiness. I've used AEM Construction for multiple projects in the past 5 years and they NEVER disappoint. Arnoldo, Eladio, and the rest of the team are professional contractors who always give a FAIR price and complete the job much faster than many contractors out there. In 2019 they painted our kitchen cabinets in less than 2 weeks. In 2021 they opened our basement (ours is one of the business pictures), removed the carpet, and reinforced a beam that holds the structure in less than 2 weeks. And in 2023 the restored our half bathroom and a basement bedroom due to a water backup in bathroom in less than 2 weeks. In 2022 they also gave us a quote to refinish our hardwood floors and to pain our backyard deck. It doesn't matter how big the job or project I can assure you the AEM team will take care of it in a fast and professional way. They even bring licensed electricians and/or HVAC technicians for structural jobs that require this type of services.

I highly recommend Arnoldo and Eladio's business to all my friends because I can give testimony of the high quality jobs the team have done in our home. Excellent business, great and friendly staff and ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE and ON TIME. A+++!!!!

Repairs Done Right

We had major structural and construction repairs done on our home from a tree fall. We had no worries about having the work done right and in a timely manner. The finished work quality was excellent. After the end of job inspection, we had zero punch list items. Jennell and Arnoldo responded to us within hours when we had had questions or wanted small modifications. They helped us work with the insurance company, throughout the 6-month process, to fully fund the back to normal house repairs. We will be calling AEM Construction again when we do major repairs or renovations in the future.

I chose AEM Construction after a house fire which started in the fireplace. I am more than satisfied with the quality work completed faster than expected. AEM took care of everything from the start of demo, electrical, plumbing, roofing, decking, fencing all the way to final touches completing my house. AEM kept me up to date on the progress through out the reconstruction with consistent communication. The design recommendations by Janelle were spot on! I could not have envisioned the beautiful house I returned to. I would recommend AEM to anyone thinking of a small job or total house renovation. They can do it all!!!

We have used AEM Construction 3 different times over the last several years. We just finished a remodel of our guest bathroom, rebuilding of our deck, and new flooring and painting in the basement. I used AEM for needed repairs after 2 water damage incidents and am beyond pleased with their work. They did drywall repair, painting, and electrical work. Everyone from the office staff to the workers was friendly and accommodating. I hated to have the need for the repairs of course but feel like I am in a new home thanks to AEM!

I had AEM rebuild my chimney, which had deteriorated due to a long term water leak. Turns out what's hidden underneath was much worse, but they stepped up and took care of it- went WELL ABOVE what was contracted and pricing was more than reasonable. Not only did they rebuild the chimney, they corrected a (since 1977) construction defect which resulted in a leaky basement. Other firms (no names here) tried to sell me on foundation repair rather than fixing the true problem.

What really impressed me was the work ethic of the crew. These people treated my home as if it were their own. Jennell always kept me up to date on what was going on project wise. It is so rare to find GOOD HONEST people who care about work quality as much as getting that check.

I will be hiring them again to do more work on my house because they treated my house like it was theirs. I can't say enough about them, a class act in all respects.

The AEM team truly surpassed our expectations. Attentive and very responsive to our needs (and constant design additions and changes). Their project management and attention to detail made the whole process a feel effortless. We will definitely be using AEM for our next project.
